How to use the shortcode in the AtlasAR plugin?

Firstly, come to the settings page and enable AR for your post type – it means where you want to show the shortcode basically. There are three options: Post, Page, Attachment. You can only choose any one of them. Multiple post type selection is available only on the Premium version.

After post type selection you must press the save button otherwise it wont work.

If you selected “Post” on post type selection then come to “Posts” option and press the “add post” button to make a new post.

After that you will be redirected to a new post and by default it will show something like this-

As you can see there is a metabox option where you can upload your own .glb/.gltf or .usdz file and edit them however you want. There are other options too such as Style, Integration. You can edit the 3D model in your convenient way.

Here, select the settings option and open the Content accordion to upload a .glb/.gltf 3D model file for android. You can use the .usdz 3D model file if you are uploading for IOS. You can choose any AR placements type. There are three product types available right now. In the free version you will get to use only “Floor” and “Wall”. In the premium version you can unlock the “Glass” product type.

After this, choose any 3D .glb/.gltf model file to upload and make sure you click the use media button.

The interface will look something like this after uploading the 3D model. Then press the button “copy shortcode” and “save” it. You can adjust the editing according to your convenience.

After that press the Block button –

And search for “shortcode” on search box and select the shortcode option-

After that, paste the copied shortcode to the field box.

Then press the “Publish” button to make the site live on the web.

Lastly, press the “View Post” button to see the live website.

There you go, your shortcode 3D model is live now on the website!
